Membership
QARC membership is administered by QARC faculty/student administrators. Member accounts, roles, and status are created and managed by QARC administration; this site does not offer public self-registration for membership.
Acceptable Use
- Use your account only for legitimate QARC academic, research, and event-related activity.
- Do not share your account credentials with anyone else, or attempt to access another member's account.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or plagiarized content as a project, research paper, or idea.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the website, its data, or other members' accounts.
- Do not use the site to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself as another person or as QARC administration.
Member Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and for the security of your own account credentials. Report any suspected unauthorized access to your account to QARC administration immediately.
Submitted Content
When you submit a project, research paper, or idea, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe on anyone else's intellectual property. Submissions are reviewed by QARC administrators/moderators before being published on the public site, and may be edited for clarity or declined at QARC's discretion.
Event Participation
Registering for a QARC event reserves your place subject to capacity and any registration deadline shown on the event page. Attendance may be recorded through PIN-based check-in during the event. QARC may cancel, reschedule, or archive an event; where historical records (registrations, attendance, certificates) exist for an event, QARC preserves those records even if the event itself is later cancelled or removed.
Certificates
Certificates are issued by QARC administrators to recognize participation, completion, or achievement in a QARC program or event. A certificate reflects QARC's records at the time of issuance and is publicly verifiable by its certificate ID on the verification page. QARC may mark a certificate as revoked if it was issued in error.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the projects, research papers, and ideas you submit. By publishing them through QARC, you grant QARC a non-exclusive right to display them on this website and in QARC materials that showcase student work, with attribution to you. The QARC name, logo, and website design are the property of QARC/SSIT.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining a strong password and for any activity that occurs under your account. QARC administration may suspend or disable an account that is found to violate these terms or poses a security risk.
Administrative Moderation
QARC administrators and moderators may review, approve, edit, or remove submitted content, manage event and attendance records, and manage member accounts, as part of normal administration of the platform. Administrative actions are recorded in an internal audit log.
Prohibited Misuse
Any attempt to circumvent authentication, scrape or bulk-extract member data, forge a certificate or attendance record, or otherwise misuse the platform is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to institute authorities.
No Warranty
This website is provided by a student-led research cell on an "as is" basis. While we aim to keep it accurate and available, QARC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as QARC's activities evolve. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
