About QARC

About QARC

QARC is Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT), Tumakuru's premier student-led technical research ecosystem. We bridge theoretical computer science, quantum physics, and generative AI into real-world innovation, prototypes, and publications.

01 · Overview

What is QARC?

QARC — Quantum & AI Research Cell breaks away from conventional college student clubs. We operate as an autonomous, student-led research cell fostering hands-on experimentation and academic output, under the guidance of faculty coordinators at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT), Tumakuru.

Vision

To bridge theoretical computer science, quantum physics, and generative AI into real-world innovation, prototypes, and publications.

Mission

Dedicated to advanced Quantum Algorithms, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and interdisciplinary innovation, driven by a student-led research ecosystem under faculty guidance.

02 · Focus areas

Research & innovation focus

  • Quantum Computing Hardware

Direct integration with IBM Quantum Cloud, Qiskit Runtime, and PennyLane. Students run real quantum circuit experiments on 127-qubit IBM Eagle processors.

  • Advanced AI & LLM Systems

Fine-tuning multi-modal transformers, building RAG knowledge systems, and developing vision algorithms for edge healthcare and autonomous robotics.

  • Peer Research & Grants

Formal submission pipeline for student research proposals, peer review workflows, paper drafting, and conference publishing mentorship.
